Earthing & energy transmission

Bare Copper Conductors

Our bare copper conductors are principally used in energy transmission installations to maximise thermal and electrical conductivity and to transmit energy with optimal efficiency. This uninsulated wire can also be used as an earthing cable. Copper offers natural resistance against environmental stresses such as wet, humid and saline climates. The conductor is stranded (Class 2 and Class 5) and complies with the requirements of IEC 60228.

  • Maximum thermal and electrical conductivity.
  • Suitable as an earthing (grounding) conductor.
  • Stranded Class 2 & Class 5 constructions (IEC 60228).
  • Natural resistance to wet, humid and saline environments.
